This position offers ownership of the firm’s legal operations, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and corporate matters.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate documents (leases, purchase/sale agreements, service contracts, LOIs, estoppels, SNDAs)
  
• 
  Support acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing, including due diligence, title review, zoning, and closing requirements
  
• 
  Manage lease administration and resolve tenant-related issues
  
• 
  Maintain legal forms and property documentation
  
• 
  Monitor regulatory filings, licenses, and compliance requirements
  
• 
  Advise leadership on real estate, corporate, and operational legal matters
  
• 
  Oversee litigation and coordinate with outside counsel as needed
  
• 
  Utilize AI-powered legal tools for contract review, compliance, and workflow efficiency
  

Requirements:

• 
  J.D. degree with strong academic performance
  
• 
  Admission to practice law in New Jersey
  
• 
  5+ years in commercial real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, leasing)
  
• 
  Law firm or in-house legal experience in commercial real estate
  
• 
  Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  

Preferred Skills:

• 
  Real estate litigation experience
  
• 
  Knowledge of 1031 exchanges
  
• 
  Proficiency or interest in AI-assisted legal tools for drafting, review, and contract analysis
  
• 
  Interest in implementing legal tech solutions for document management and deal workflows
