Job Description
HumanHire has partnered with a large healthcare organization in their search for an Accounting Clerk! As an Accounting Clerk, you will work closely with finance professionals and other departments to provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and facilitate efficient communication.
This is a 2-3 month temporary position, starting ASAP!
What's in it for you?
- Location: New Hyde Park, NY
- Pay: $22-26/hr (weekly pay!)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Handle emails, phone calls, and other correspondence related to financial matters, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports, memos, and other documents as needed.
- Enter financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in processing invoices, verifying details, and coordinating with vendors or suppliers regarding payment inquiries.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
