Job Description
HumanHire is working with a local manufacturer to find a Telemarketer for their office in Hicksville. This organization has been in business for over 30 years and they have a great reputation on Long Island as a company that has low turnover and offers opportunities to add onto their compensation!
We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of Telemarketing experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting outbound calls to generate leads and sales opportunities and setting appointments for the sales team.
- Position: Telemarketer
- Location: Hicksville, NY
- Pay: Up to $47,000/yr
- Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Telemarketer Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to generate new leads and sales opportunities
- Set appointments for the sales team
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to address customer inquiries
- Follow up on leads from company events, trade shows, and industry media outlets
- Document conversations in CRM system
Telemarketer Qualifications:
- At least 1-3 years experience in in telemarketing or phone sales, preferably in a product focused environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Familiarity with manufacturing sales or product sales is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey product benefits and feature
