Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a top regional Accounting Firm to find a Seasonal Tax Preparer to join the firms growing team in Selden, NY.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns, providing outstanding service to clients, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws.

- Pay: $30-45/hour plus weekly pay and OT!

Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual, business, and other related tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information, answer tax-related questions, and provide general tax advice.
- Analyze financial records, including W-2s, 1099s, bank statements, and other relevant documents to ensure accurate tax filings.
- E-file returns and ensure proper documentation is submitted to the appropriate agencies in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations to ensure all tax returns comply with federal, state, and local guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Tax Preparer or related experience
- Experience with UltraTax is a plus
- Availability to work full-time from December through April
