HumanHire is partnered with a leading nonprofit organization in search of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a local school in NYC!
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be evaluating and treating communication and feeding disorders in young children with disabilities.
We are seeking candidates with 1+ year of SLP experience to join our growing team!
- Compensation: Up to $92,000 per year with $1,500 sign on bonus!

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-3PM
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate developmental delays and communication disorders in children (ages 0-5) with disabilities and prepares reports for EI, CPSE, and CSE
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, oral motor, and feeding challenges
- Monitor progress using formal and informal assessments, providing updates to families and team members
- Introduce and manage AAC devices, providing training and support to staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and intake processes to align services with developmental goals
- Supervise students and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as assigned
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology required
- 1+ year of SLP experience required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required
- Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology
- NYSED Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Hard of hearing (TSHH)
