Job Description
HumanHire is seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer to join a well-established outpatient clinic delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment. This role is ideal for a sonographer who values consistency, collaboration, and making a real impact during every patient interaction.

- Compensation: $30/hour
- Location: Jackson Heights, NY
- Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
- Stability: Steady weekday hours in an outpatient clinical setting
- Team Environment: Work alongside experienced healthcare professionals who value quality care and teamwork
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations using specialized imaging equipment
- Set up, operate, and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Produce and document accurate ultrasound images to support patient diagnosis
- Communicate clearly with patients, addressing concerns before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of scans and findings
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care
- Reassure and support anxious or nervous patients throughout the exam process

Education: Degree in radiology, nursing, health science, or related field

Certification: RDMS required

Experience:
- 1 to 2 years in a healthcare or sonography-related role (minimum)
- Experience as a Nurse or Radiographer accepted
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging principles
- Excellent bedside manner, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced clinical workflow
