Job Description
HumanHire has partnered with a world-class manufacturer and an International leader in machine tool technology located in Albany, NY. We are seeking Service Technician candidates. This role requires expertise in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, along with extensive travel (domestic and international) to support customer needs.
- Position: Service Technician
- Location: Missouri
- Pay: $62,000-$87,000 (weekly pay)
- Benefits: Health, Dental, 401k, Profit Sharing
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift
Responsibilities
- Use electrical schematics to diagnose and repair components like switches, PLCs, PCs, sensors, motors, and measurement devices.
- Employ laptops, software applications, and documentation to test and debug PLC ladder logic programs.
- Interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics to identify issues and repair systems, including pistons, pulleys, belts, gears, lubrication systems, and hydraulic power systems.
- Verify machine calibration and functionality through thorough testing, and oversee start-up and debugging of new or rebuilt machines at both NSH USA and customer locations.
- Provide hands-on service and maintenance at customer sites, requiring extensive domestic and international travel (80-90%), including weekends.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical field, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Traveling to different US States and international as well, including Canada, Mexico and possibly Germany
- NYS Background Check and Drug test required
