HumanHire has partnered with a leading construction firm that works with many well-known companies & organizations throughout the East Coast in search of a Salesperson for their office in Farmingdale, NY.
We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience within construction sales or business development.
What we offer:
- Position: Salesperson
- Location: Farmingdale, NY
- Compensation: $50,000 annual base salary + uncapped commission! Y1 OTE $100K+
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM
- Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, 401K Match
Responsibilities:
- Perform market research and generate leads to identify potential clients & sales opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through targeted outreach such as cold calling, email, etc.
- Present and market company services to existing & potential clients and answer any inquiries related to services offered, pricing, etc.
- Provide quotes and negotiate pricing, contracts, & terms as needed
- Maintain company and industry knowledge along with competitor activity
- Manage follow up & quality check activities and identify & resolve issues or concerns
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports on sales activity
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of construction sales or construction business development required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to establish and grow relationships
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and written & verbal communication skills
- Must be motivated and a results-driven, self-starter
