Job Description
The Billing and Coding Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Billing and Coding groups to maximize revenues and reimbursements for patient services. This role will coordinate and monitor external billing vendors, plan and review specialized billing and revenue projects, and ensure effective and efficient billing and coding practices.
Details:
- Pay: Up to $107k (DOE) + Benefits
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, hybrid flexible! (1 day WFH)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Billing and Coding groups.
- Maximize revenues and reimbursements through effective and efficient billing and coding practices.
- Coordinate and monitor all external billing vendors and services.
- Plan and review specialized billing and revenue projects.
- Analyze upcoming billing changes and their impact on corporation
- Analyze billing software systems and billing management vendors.
- Educate internal and external staff on billing and coding procedures.
- Educate staff and monitor all revenue cycle activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred.
- 3-4 years of work experience in medical billing/coding.
- 8+ years of supervisory or lead capacity experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and practice management systems.
