Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Bronx area. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a community-based healthcare organization that supports individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, a nursing degree, and a passion for providing high-quality healthcare services to individuals in a residential and clinic setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr + Benefits
Bonus: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage healthcare services for individuals in designated programs and ensure appropriate follow-up on medical issues.
- Lead staff training sessions on topics including medical administration, infection control, personal hygiene, first aid, and other healthcare-related subjects.
- Monitor infection control practices, oversee staff health records, and ensure the proper administration, storage, and handling of medications.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, and actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Supervise nursing staff and assist with coordinating transportation for individuals to medical appointments.
- Provide first aid and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license and CPR certification in New York.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- At least one year of nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a team and interact with individuals, families, and healthcare providers.
