Job Description
HumanHire has collaborated with a prestigious New York State oncology practice, known for its exceptional standard of care and commitment to patient well-being, to seek out a Radiology Systems Administrator. The Radiology Systems Administrator will manage and support the PACS & RIS systems. Responsibilities include training users, configuring diagnostic workstations, managing system data, and ensuring data integrity.
Salary: Up to $120,000/year
Location: New Hyde Park, NY

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic workstation configurations and protocols.
- Support new DICOM modality connections and validate HL7 interface transactions.
- Correct system data entry errors and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Manage PACS/RIS interfaces with other clinical systems.
- Oversee digital image transfers, user rights management, and system maintenance.
- Collaborate on new software and hardware implementations.
- Document PACS system configurations and maintenance.
- Manage EHR integration with the RIS system.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Radiology IT.
- Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, XML, and HTML.
- Experience with PACS systems.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
