Practice Group Administrator

Job Description
HumanHire has partnered with a prestigious Am Law Top 300 firm in NYC to find a Practice Group Administrator to join their growing team! The Group Administrator will be responsible for providing operational and functional oversight of the practice group in the areas of finance, business and client development, talent management, and execution of strategic growth

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring effective communication across the practice group.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, liaise with finance on billing and receivables.
- Assist leadership with staffing needs, including monitoring workloads, managing evaluations, and collaborating on hiring.
- Work with marketing for collateral and initiatives, coordinate client meetings and communications, and support client presentations and proposals.
- Maintain and assist with practice group budget management, and provide feedback on client diligence requests.
- Review CLE opportunities and work with partners to fulfill the group's educational needs.
- Track and monitor time entry for the practice group.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of law firm experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to work independently and be proactive, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and build credibility with lawyers.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required
