Job Description
Orthotic Fitter
We’re partnering with a growing healthcare provider in New Haven to hire an Orthotic Fitter. This is a hands-on, patient-facing position that offers training and certification opportunities in orthotic fitting. It's ideal for individuals passionate about starting a career in healthcare, physical therapy, or rehabilitation services.
What’s in It for You:
- Competitive Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends)
- Location:Â New Haven, CT

- Training Provided:Â Hands-on clinical training with support to become certified
- Work Environment:Â Collaborative care team and direct patient interaction
Orthotic Fitter Responsibilities:
- Assist in fitting and adjusting orthotic devices under the supervision of certified clinicians
- Educate patients on proper use and care of orthotic equipment
- Support patient intake, documentation, and follow-up procedures
- Keep clinical areas clean and organized; manage supplies and inventory
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care
Orthotic Fitter Qualifications:
- Comfort working directly with patients in a clinical setting
- Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility as needed
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the allied health field
