Pay Rate: $17/hr (eligible for an increase after a few months based on performance and attendance)
OT Eligible (Y/N): Yes, mandatory OT every week
Hours: Mon-Fri, 10am-6pm AND Sat, 10am-4pm (Saturdays are Remote and they may get out earlier than 4pm)

Job Summary: We are partnering with a financial services company in their search for a financial call center rep! Located in Midtown, NY, the ideal candidate will come with strong customer service experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Make 20 calls/hr calling shareholders to get their proxy votes (the 20 calls/hr are tracked)
- Fill out spreadsheet with call progress
- Candidates will receive training and read from a script
Requirements:
- Previous customer service/call center experience
- Strong communication skills
- Associates Degree
Technical Requirements:
- Must have a laptop with Windows 10 or newer OR Mac 2018 or newer (anything older than 5 years is not compatible with their VPN and software)
- No Chrome Books or tablets because they need to be able to handle the extensive database as well as excel spreadsheets, etc.
- Phone limitations: Must have iOS 14 or newer model OR and iPhone that has iOS 14 installed OR an Android version 10 or newer
- No landlines – they don’t have the capabilities to call through the computer
Additional Notes:
- Tri-end management then comes to Okapi and needs them to contact those shareholders. This could be a situation where they ramp up and then dies down quickly if Disney burys it again.
- The Hiring Manager is Yan Reydman. Yan was a temp through Soni that converted. He’s very analytical and VERY thorough (ie: if you’re break is 15 minutes and you take 16, he will notice. Please make sure candidates know that cheating the clock is closely monitored and not tolerated.

Our thorough process allows clients to achieve their desired result at annual and special meetings of shareholders, in routine and non-routine matters, and in contested elections or contests for corporate control.

- Questions they will be asked:
- What do you know about Okapi? They MUST look at the company website and be able to speak about what the company does. They just want to see that the candidate has done their research
- Candidates will be given Yan’s direct line and they will have to call him for the interview. From the minute Yan answers, he is evaluating them. Strong phone skills are a must!
