This position involves providing hands-on primary care to the geriatric population while mentoring providers and ensuring high standards of clinical quality.

Medical Director Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical reviews related to utilization, quality assurance, and complex clinical cases to facilitate timely, evidence-based decisions.
- Provide primary care services to residents at skilled nursing facilities.
- Collaborate with and mentor healthcare providers to improve care delivery and outcomes.
- Participate actively in clinical and administrative meetings to support organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures to uphold quality standards.
- Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with regulations.
Medical Director Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted New York State medical license.
- Experience working with geriatric patients and familiarity with skilled nursing environments is preferred.
