Category Manager, Indirect Procurement
Danvers, MA (Hybrid)
A global healthcare organization is seeking a Category Manager, Indirect Procurement to support indirect sourcing strategy, supplier management, and spend optimization within a regulated environment. This is a newly created role supporting global operations with strong cross-functional visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead indirect sourcing initiatives and RFx processes across multiple spend categories
- Develop category strategies to drive cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation
- Manage supplier relationships and contract lifecycle processes
- Partner with internal stakeholders across IT, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Facilities
- Support supply chain and procurement initiatives aligned with business goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience with 5+ years in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing
- Experience with supplier negotiations, category strategy, and contract management
- Procurement systems experience (SAP, Coupa, Ariba) and strong Excel skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
