Job Description
HumanHire is working with the largest healthcare company in the country to add a Certified Medical Assistant to their team in Thornwood! Our client has over 100,000 physicians nationwide & focuses on all areas of healthcare, including specialty care, medical practices, & urgent cares.
What's in it for you?
- Location: Thornwood, NY
- Pay: $20-22/hour plus benefits and weekly pay!
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
- Environment: Fast-paced & team-oriented
Responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining patient flow to and from exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assists in escorting patients
- Obtain vital signs, weights and Electrocardiograms (EKG) when needed
- Assists physicians with procedures
- Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are cleaned after each patient leaves and prepared for the next patient
Qualifications:
- *MUST BE VACCINATED*
- 1 year of experience in a medical office setting
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or eligible for a certification
