Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Medical Assistant to join our client's team in Seattle, WA. As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support in a clinical setting.
What's in it for you?
- Location: New Castle, WA
- Pay: $23-38/hour based on years of experience plus benefits and weekly pay!
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with an occasional rotating Saturday
- Environment: Fast-paced & team-oriented
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, recording medical histories, and taking vital signs.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records and documentation.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques.
- Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following proper protocols.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year in a healthcare setting required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification & BLS certification required
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and documentation.
