Job Description
Medical Assistant
A rapidly growing dermatology practice in the Albertson area is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative functions. The role offers hands-on experience in a specialty care setting with opportunities for long-term growth.

- Location:Â Albertson, NY
- Pay Rate: $20–$23/hour | Overtime Eligible
- Schedule: Full-Time | Must be flexible for opening and closing shifts
- Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and PTO
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and escort patients to appointments
- Record vital signs and update patient medical histories
- Assist physicians during procedures and exams
- Perform suture removals, dressing changes, and prescription call-ins
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Return patient calls and schedule follow-up visits
- Support general office tasks as needed
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (specialty or dermatology preferred)
- MA Certification required, unless you are coming with dermatology experience
