Job Description
The Medical Assistant supports the practice within a multidisciplinary healthcare organization. Responsibilities include patient intake, clinical and laboratory support, diagnostic testing, EMR documentation, and assisting providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

- Pay Rate: $24-36/hr (based on experience)
- Schedule: 5/8.5 Hour Shifts; Monday - Friday office hours are 7:30am-7:00pm
- Location: BrooklynÂ

- Manage patient intake and document information accurately
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including venipuncture
- Record patient vital signs and prepare patients for exams/procedures
- Assist physicians during examinations and office procedures
- Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing
- Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment
- Support EMR documentation and provider/staff workflows
Medical Assistant Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certificate; High School Diploma required
- Current BLS Certification
- 1+ year outpatient or lab experience
- Experience with EMR systems
