Job Description
Job Summary
HumanHire has partnered with a world-class manufacturer and an International leader in machine tool technology located in Albany, NY.
We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of mechanic experience to join our growing team
- Position: Mechanic
- Location: Albany, NY
- Pay: $21/hr-$30/hour (weekly pay)
- Benefits: Health, Dental, 401k, Profit Sharing
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM/9AM-6PM (occasional rotating weekend shift and evening shift 2-3 times a month)
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in machinery and equipment.
- Providing technical assistance, on-site repairs, and guidance to customers on equipment maintenance and parts replacement.
- Installing new equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and functionality.
- Managing parts inventory, order necessary supplies, and maintain tools and equipment.
- Following safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.
- Keeping accurate records of repairs, maintenance, parts used, and provide detailed reports on equipment status.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experienced reading blueprints and schematic drawings
- NYS Background Check and Drug test required
