Database IT Administrator
Full-Time | Hybrid | $70,000 - $80,000/year

A leading nonprofit cultural organization is seeking a Manager, Systems & Prospect Research to join their Development team. This role will support fundraising operations through a combination of database management, analytics, reporting, CRM optimization, and prospect research.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with nonprofit advancement systems, donor databases, and research tools, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights that support fundraising strategy and donor engagement.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead system integrations across development platforms, including CRM, web, and online giving systems.

  • Support CRM migration initiatives, including requirements gathering, testing, data validation, and post-implementation support.

  • Maintain data integrity and establish data governance standards across advancement systems.

  • Manage database quality initiatives including duplicate resolution, record accuracy, and data standardization.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support fundraising campaigns, donor portfolios, membership programs, and pipeline management.

  • Conduct prospect research, including donor profiles, wealth screening, briefings, and institutional research.

  • Manage and evaluate prospect research tools and recommend improvements to research processes.

  • Partner with fundraising teams to support portfolio reviews, donor cultivation strategies, and event planning efforts.

  • Collaborate with Development Operations and IT teams on system optimization and special projects.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 2+ years of prospect research experience within a nonprofit, cultural institution, higher education, or similar environment.

  • Experience with donor databases, CRM systems, and advancement technology.

  • Familiarity with prospect research and wealth screening tools such as iWave, LexisNexis, RelSci, Foundation Directory Online, or GuideStar.

  • Experience with Tessitura, Raiser’s Edge, or similar fundraising CRM platforms preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information.

  • Experience with database imports/exports and relational database concepts.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and online research tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Schedule & Work Environment:

  • Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

  • Full-time, exempt position
Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $70,000-$80,000 annually
