Job Description
HumanHire has partnered with a world-class manufacturer and an International leader in machine tool technology located in Albany, NY. We are seeking someone with 2+ years of Machinist experience
- Position: Manufacturing Mechanic
- Location: Albany, NY
- Pay: $18/hr-$31/hour (weekly pay)
- Benefits: Health, Dental, 401k, Profit Sharing
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Manufacture high-quality machine parts efficiently, safely, and on time, working both independently and as part of a team to meet departmental goals for efficiency, delivery, and quality.
- Follow instructions, accept feedback gracefully, and demonstrate a professional attitude in all interactions.
- Analyze and resolve issues effectively, making decisions when appropriate while recognizing when to defer to management.
- Complete tasks as requested by the Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure smooth factory operations, maintaining quality and safety standards with minimal supervision.
- Report directly to the Shop Supervisor, carrying out additional duties as assigned within the job scope by the Shop Supervisor or Director of Manufacturing Operations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of entry-level machinist experience
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- High School Diploma or equivalent
