Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a publicly traded, growing banking institution in search of a Loan Closer for their branch in the Bronx. This organization has been around for 60+ years and has multiple branch locations throughout the NYC Metro area!
The Loan Closer will primarily be responsible for reviewing loan documentation and overseeing the loan closing process. We are seeking candidates with 3+ years of mortgage or SBA loan closing experience.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM (no weekends)
- Salary: Up to $60,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Review loans and prepare & verify documentation needed for closing
- Resolve document errors, address closing issues, and resolve discrepancies
- Track closing dates and coordinate closings with underwriters, loan officers, borrowers, and legal counsel
- Issue closing instructions, review title work, and correct & forward closing documents to originator
- Prepare reports for senior management as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of mortgage or SBA loan closing experience required
- Associate degree required
- Knowledge of mortgage loan closing policies, procedures, and documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to clearly communicate (written and verbal)
- Must possess analytical skills
