Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked national Law Firm to add a Litigation Associate to a growing Insurance Defense group in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in civil litigation along with direct experience handling professional liability cases.
We Offer:
- Pay: $125-165K Base Salary DOE plus Bonus
- Unique Bonus Structure: Up to $25K (annual and quarterly opportunities)
- Hybrid Flexibility: 2 days remote weekly

Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial or resolution
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Take and defend depositions, including expert and fact witnesses
- Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and senior attorneys
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Evaluate liability and damages and provide clients with strategic legal advice
- Communicate proactively with clients, carriers, and colleagues to ensure timely case progress
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory changes impacting professional liability
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Litigation Attorney experience
- Experience with Insurance Defense (Required)
- Experience with Professional Liability (Preferred)
- Active Georgia Bar License with strong academic credentials
- Ability to manage 1900 Billable hours annually
