Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Collections & Lien Specialist to join our healthcare administration team. This role is essential in managing the collection of outstanding medical bills, ensuring proper lien processing, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of medical billing procedures, coding systems, and legal lien processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to optimizing revenue cycle management and supporting the financial health of our organization.
- Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
- $19–$24/hour

What You’ll Do
- Track and review lien accounts for updates with law firms and attorneys
- Follow up on outstanding lien settlements
- Prepare balance invoices for attorneys
- Document and maintain detailed lien activity on patient accounts from emails and phone calls
- Support the team with additional tasks as needed
- Your work ensures providers get paid on time while maintaining professional relationships with law offices.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical collections or medical claims
- Professional communication skills with attorneys and law office personnel
- Experience with medical liens, arbitration, or no-fault regulations is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
