Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - OBGYN
MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH
- Location: Bayshore, NY
- Pay: $32-42/hr+ $1/hour bilingual differential
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (5 shifts/week, 8.5-hour shifts)
- Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their OB/GYN team in Bay Shore, NY. This role is ideal for an LPN with outpatient, women’s health, or physician office experience who enjoys providing compassionate patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR system
- Assist providers with OB/GYN exams and clinical procedures
- Perform injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and care plans
- Manage patient callbacks and provider inbox tasks
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
Qualifications
- Active NY State LPN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Bilingual Spanish required
