Job Description
HumanHire is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to oversee our client's hospital laboratory operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
As a Laboratory Supervisor you will supervise staff, maintain quality control, manage equipment, and foster collaboration.

- Salary:Â up to $120,000/year
- Schedule: M-F (9am – 5:30pm)

Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily laboratory operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to protocols
- Manage laboratory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Implement and monitor quality control measures and proficiency testing
- Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Foster collaboration with healthcare professionals for effective communication
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions
- Provide training and education to enhance staff competence
- Maintain accurate documentation, confidentiality, and data integrity
- Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or Histotechnologist license is required
- In-depth knowledge of laboratory procedures, regulations, and quality assurance
