Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked global Law Firm to find an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join the firms growing team in Menlo Park, CA!
As an Intellectual Property Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firms attorneys in all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Location: Menlo Park, CA

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize intellectual property files and databases, ensuring all documents are up to date and readily accessible.
- Conduct thorough research on intellectual property issues, including prior art searches, trademark availability searches, and patent and trademark prosecution research.
- Prepare and file patent and trademark applications, responses to office actions, and other legal documents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other relevant agencies.
- Communicate directly with clients, government agencies, and international associates regarding intellectual property matters.
- Assist in due diligence investigations related to intellectual property in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Support attorneys in intellectual property litigation by organizing and managing documents, preparing discovery materials, and assisting in trial preparation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Paralegal experience (IP experience required)
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate
- Proficiency in various legal softwares (Lexis, NetDocs, etc.)
