Facilities Custodian
Make a meaningful impact by helping maintain a clean, safe environment in a leading healthcare facility. In this role, you’ll enjoy reliable hours, competitive pay, and a supportive team culture where your contributions truly matter. What’s in it for you:
- Pay: $23.50/hr
- Location: Stony Brook, NY
- Shift: 11 PM – 7:30 AM, must be available every other weekend
- Assignment duration: 6 months
- Benefits: Health, dental, and vision available after 90 days
Facilities Custodian Responsibilities:
- Safely remove and dispose of hazardous items
- Clean floors, walls, windows, and common areas
- Vacuum and maintain carpets and floors
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly
- Replace light bulbs and clean fixtures
- Polish furniture and equipment
- Manage cleaning supplies and linens
- Report maintenance or repair needs
Facilities Custodian Qualifications:
- Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and communicate effectively
- Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a healthcare setting
