Job Description
We're partnering with one of our manufacturing clients in the Hauppauge area on their search for a Bilingual HR Generalist!

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary HR contact for employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain employees, ensuring staffing needs are met in alignment with production demands.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations as necessary and recommending corrective actions.
- Facilitate and deliver employee training programs on workplace policies, safety procedures, and compliance standards.
- Oversee and manage HR compliance initiatives, including maintaining personnel records, I-9 forms, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and implement performance management strategies and improvement plans.
- Administer employee benefits, leave requests, and accommodations in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Serve as a bridge between management and employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Support safety programs by partnering with safety teams to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Assist with HR data reporting, payroll processing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) required.
- Experience with ADP Workday Payroll systems
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing setting and handle multiple priorities effectively.
