Job Description
HumanHire is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Gift Shop Associate to join our clients gift shop team for a 2 month temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring that the gift shop is a welcoming and well-organized space. This position plays a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the gift shop, offering a variety of items including snacks, gifts, personal care products, and more.
*This is a 2-month long temporary assignment*
What's in it for you?
- Pay: Up to $25/hr, weekly pay!
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30AM-5:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with their purchases, providing a warm and helpful experience.
- Operate the cash register, handle payments, and issue receipts accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining inventory levels. Notify management of low stock or special orders.
- Ensure that products are presented in an attractive and accessible manner, keeping the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Maintain knowledge of the products available, including gifts, snacks, and personal care items, to help customers find what they need.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and work effectively in a team
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
