Job Description


We are seeking a Development Officer of Donor Relations to become a part of our dynamic development team. This position will be essential for enhancing donor engagement, coordinating cultivation events, and growing our network of individual donors.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about fundraising and have a strong background in relationship management and research.

Details:
  • Schedule: Full-time position (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm. Some evenings and weekends may be required
  • Location: Upper East NY
  • Pay: $36-43/hr + benefits

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors
  • Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities
  • Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of fundraising efforts
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute fundraising events
  • Assist in estate planning discussions with potential donors
  • Manage digital marketing campaigns to promote philanthropic initiatives
  • Oversee budgeting for philanthropic projects
  • Coordinate public relations activities to enhance the organization's philanthropic image

Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in digital marketing to drive fundraising campaigns
  • Strong budgeting skills to effectively manage financial resources
  • Ability to plan and execute successful events management
  • Excellent communication skills for relationship building and public relations efforts
  • Bachelors degree
