We’re partnering with a fast-growing physician support organization that works alongside specialty medical practices across NY, NJ, and CT.
Details:
- Pay Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: The position is fully on-site, Monday through Friday. Standard work week is 40 hours.
Typical hours: 8:30am–4:30pm
What You’ll Own
- Review, investigate, and respond to coding denials in a timely manner
- Determine appropriate appeal actions within contractual deadlines
- Analyze carrier policies and guidelines for denied services
- Prepare responses to delay letters and additional payer requests
- Identify denial trends and uncover root causes
- Maintain accurate documentation of all denial activity
This role is critical to protecting revenue and keeping operations running efficiently. Your work directly impacts the financial health of the organization.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of denial management experience across multiple carriers and specialties
- Strong working knowledge of insurance portals, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- High attention to detail and ability to meet productivity benchmarks
