Job Description
Medical AssistantÂ
HumanHire is partnering with one of the leading multi-specialty medical practices and Urgent Care networks in New York to seek out a Medical Assistant for their office in Riverhead. This provider over 40 locations across New York State and provides competitive compensation along with tangible opportunities for career advancement!

- Pay:Â Up to $26Â per hour, based on experience (plus benefits & weekly pay!)
- Bonus:Â Eligible for up to $600/month
- Multiple schedules available (Must have availability between 8AM-12AM, 7 days a week)

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Record patient vitals, medical history, and current symptoms accurately.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and minor surgeries.
- Efficiently manage front desk tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and handling patient inquiries.
- Perform routine clinical procedures such as blood pressure measurements, EKGs, and specimen collection.
- Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
Medical Assistant Qualifications:
- Certifications:Â CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, LPN/RN, NREMT, or CNA.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
- Medical Assistant or front desk experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
