Job Description
This clinic is a well-established bariatric practice with locations in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in both clinical and OR settings.
The Physician Assistant position offers a dynamic, patient-focused environment with opportunities for professional growth and skill advancement. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, supporting both surgical and non-surgical bariatric procedures. The clinic emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and staying current with clinical practices and advances in bariatric treatment.
Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
- Interview, examine, and diagnose patients’ illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes
- Perform suturing and assist in the OR as needed
- Review and maintain patients’ medical histories and progress
- Educate and counsel patients and their families
Physician Assistant Requirements:
- New grads welcome!
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Licensed to practice in NJ
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- ACLS & BLS Certified
- Infectious Disease Certification preferred
- OR/First-Assist Experience in Surgical or Bariatric Settings
