Job Description
Medical Assistant
Location: Riverhead, NY
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 5 shifts per week (8.5 hours between 6:30am–6:00pm)

Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, including accurate documentation of medical history and visit details
- Record vital signs and prepare patients for examinations
- Assist providers during exams and in-office procedures
- Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing
- Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture
- Maintain and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Support clinical documentation and data entry within EMR systems
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle additional duties as needed to support the practice
- Medical Assistant certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
- Knowledge of standard safety protocols and proper PPE use
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel between nearby offices
- Starting pay: $22+/hour (based on experience)
