Locations: Brooklyn, NY & Manhattan, NY
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: 4-Day Workweek | 4/10 Schedule | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: Up to $56/hour + Overtime Eligible
Mammography Technologist Opportunity
A leading outpatient diagnostic imaging organization is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist / Mammo Tech to join a growing radiology team in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This is an excellent opportunity for an ARRT-certified Mammography Technologist with experience in digital mammography, breast imaging, and stereotactic biopsy assistance to work in a patient-centered outpatient imaging environment.
Mammography Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform screening mammograms and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Operate digital mammography imaging equipment
- Assist radiologists with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
- Position patients properly for breast imaging exams
- Review mammography images for quality assurance and accuracy
- Ensure proper patient identification and imaging documentation
- Educate patients on mammography procedures and provide compassionate care
- Follow radiation safety and radiologic technology protocols
- Adjust imaging equipment and exposure settings for optimal image quality
- Maintain mammography supplies and imaging room inventory
- Support radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent continuous Mammography Technologist experience
- ARRT Certification required
- Mammography certification required
- Knowledge of digital imaging systems, PACS, and EMR systems
