A leading, multi-location orthotics and prosthetics organization is expanding its Upper East Side location and is looking for a skilled Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist / Certified Orthotist (CPO/CO) to join their patient-centered clinical team. If you’re passionate about restoring mobility and providing life-changing care, this role gives you the autonomy, collaboration, and upward growth you’ve been looking for.
What You’ll Do
• Evaluate patients, determine clinical needs, and collaborate with physicians on device prescriptions
• Measure, design, and fabricate custom prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring proper static and dynamic alignment
• Fit, adjust, and troubleshoot devices to optimize comfort and mobility
• Educate patients, caregivers, and therapists on device use and care
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage follow-up assessments
• Participate in on-call rotation and oversee assistants and lab/fabrication activities as needed
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics or related field
• ABC or BOC certification required
• One year of additional clinical experience preferred
• Bilingual capbilities are a plus
