Medical Assistant – Bilingual Chinese Required (Mandarin/Cantonese)
- New York, NY (Manhattan & Brooklyn)
- $27–$34/hr | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8.5 hours per shift, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
About the Role
We are hiring a Bilingual Medical Assistant (Chinese/English) to support patient care across multiple locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This role requires fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese to communicate effectively with our diverse patient population in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese and English – required
- Ability to travel between Manhattan and Brooklyn locations
- Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- EMR/EHR experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Take vital signs and document patient history
- Communicate with patients in Chinese and English
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Maintain accurate records in EMR/EHR systems
- Support front-office and clinical operations as needed
