Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a top ranked global law firm to find a Benefits Manager to join the firms growing team in New Jersey.
As the Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's benefits offerings, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the firm's goals and employee needs.
- Location: West Orange, NJ (Flexible Hybrid Schedule)

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee perks.
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other relevant laws. Stay current with changes in benefits legislation and update policies accordingly.
- Oversee benefits enrollment processes, including new hire onboarding and open enrollment periods. Develop and distribute clear, informative communication materials to employees about benefits options and changes.
- Liaise with benefits vendors, brokers, and insurance carriers. Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and resolve any issues related to benefits administration.
- Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness and employee satisfaction. Prepare and present reports to senior management on benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
- Evaluate current benefits offerings and recommend enhancements or new programs to improve employee satisfaction and competitiveness in the market.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Benefits Administration experience (Law Firm experience highly preferred)
- Proficiency in various HR Softwares
- SHRM or other HR Certifications are a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Preferred)
