Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a Top-Ranked Mid-Sized Law Firm to find a Banking Associate to join their growing team in NYC. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated financing transactions with leading financial institutions and a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:
- Represent financial institutions and other clients in a variety of domestic and international financing transactions.
- Assist with structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing sophisticated lending matters.
- Prepare and negotiate financing documents, including credit agreements, security documents, participation agreements, and other transaction-related agreements.
- Work on both secured and unsecured financing transactions, including syndicated and bilateral deals.
- Advise clients on legal issues involving commercial lending, secured transactions, and related financing matters.
- Conduct research and provide guidance on applicable provisions of the UCC and Bankruptcy Code.
- Manage multiple transactions while working closely with partners, clients, and other deal professionals.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Banking & Finance experience
- Strong lending experience, preferably representing lenders
- Experience with letters of credit strongly preferred
- Exposure to trade finance and/or fund finance is a plus
- Active New York Bar Admission required
- Candidates with a Corporate background and 3+ years of experience looking to transition into Banking & Finance will also be considered
