Job Description
HumanHire is partnered with a Boutique Litigation Firm to find an Associate Attorney to join the firms growing Workers Compensation Defense team in Brea, CA.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in matters related to workers' compensation claims, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
We Offer:
- Pay: $120-200K Base DOE plus Bonus
- Hybrid / Remote Flexibility: Fully remote after first few months

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including pre-litigation, settlement discussions, and hearings before administrative law judges.
- Analyze and assess the merits of workers' compensation claims, prepare legal strategies, and advise clients on potential outcomes.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters from initial claim through resolution.
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Attorney experience
- Workers Compensation experience preferred
- JD or LLM Degree
- CA Bar Admission
