Job Description
We are working with one of the largest insurance companies in New York, to help find an Claims Trainer for their White Plains office. This company has been around for over 75 years and this person will be sitting out of their healthcare claims department.
What's in it for you?
- Location: White Plains, NY
- Pay: $28-30/hour (plus weekly pay, full benefits, 401K, bonus opportunities & more!)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:15PM
What you'll be doing:
- Directly supervise Claims Analysts.
- Train new hires and provide refresher training to existing staff and other departments.
- Oversee the processing of medical, hospital, vision, dental, and other claims.
- Monitor analyst production and quality, providing feedback and support.
- Manage claims inventory to meet turnaround time requirements.
- Identify and conduct necessary training sessions.
- Oversee claims correspondence and ensure timely handling.
- Manage medical claim referrals and pre-certification issues.
- Ensure accurate and current documentation of benefit plans.
- Assist in maintaining the Claims training manual and staying informed on relevant laws.
What they're seeking:
- Experience processing healthcare insurance or self-funded claims required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- NYS A&H Adjuster license (to be obtained within 3 months of employment)
- Familiar with medical claim terminology
