HumanHire is partnering with a large, multi-site adult primary care group to hire a Director of Operations. This is a high-impact role overseeing 15 sites across Long Island and NYC with 88+ providers. The ideal candidate will have strong healthcare operations experience, a track record of team leadership, and the ability to manage front- and back-office functions, budget performance, and clinical integration strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee all operational functions across assigned practice locations
• Lead and mentor practice managers and support staff
• Drive achievement of financial and service goals
• Manage P&L, staffing models, and requisition planning
• Optimize scheduling, access, and patient panel growth
• Support strategic clinical integration and cross-department workflows
• Develop and implement department-specific business plans
• Monitor coding, volume, and revenue reporting
• Improve workflows and patient outcomes using Epic data
• Collaborate with VP of Operations on training, coaching, and initiatives
• Oversee credentialing and onboarding of new providers
• Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience
• Strong supervisory and team development background
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with Epic or other EMR platforms
