Job Description
HumanHire is working with the premier commercial construction company on Long Island to help find an Accounts Payable Clerk!
*This is an entry-level accounting role. Any recent graduates or candidates looking to gain accounting experience are encouraged to apply!*
- Pay: $26-$30/hr (plus full medical, health, dental benefits, 401K match, generous PTO to start & bonus opportunities!)
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4:30PM
What you'll be doing:
- Assisting in matching invoices & PO's from vendors
- Reconciling credit card statements & preparing electronic/paper payments
- Weekly check runs & daily AP postings to the general ledger
- Assisting with month-end close
- Performing any Ad-Hoc projects as assigned by the Controller
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent preferred
- Moderate Excel Skills (Managing sheets, formulas. etc.)
- Comfortability navigating computer systems
- Excellent verbal & electronic communication skills
