Job Description
HumanHire is partnering with one of the leading insurance companies in NY to find a Junior Treasury Analyst for their HQ in White Plains. The Junior Treasury Analyst will support the team in the Cash Management Department.
What's in it for you?
- Pay: Up to $30/hr - weekly pay & benefits!
- Location: White Plains, NY
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Monitor bank account activities and relay pertinent information to team members and other departments.
- Handle client cash flows and collaborate with account representatives and staff accountants to resolve cash flow inquiries.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure cash flow accuracy.
- Retrieve and distribute account data, including monthly statements, from online banking platforms.
- Aid in maintaining bank balances throughout the day.
- Reconcile prior day activities and distribute transaction details to staff accountants.
- Utilize company systems to gather relevant data for cash flows.
- Perform bank service charge analyses for clients.
- Assist with various banking transactions such as transfers, wires, and payment reconciliations.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting/finance/banking preferred.
- Experience with Oracle accounting software is a plus.
- Bachelors degree in a related area preferred.
